One of our latest products is a ‘Beautiful South Africa’ colouring in poster. It’s screenprinted on beautiful, thick, textured paper, and measures 700mmx1000mm. The retail price is R180 and it comes in a robust cardboard tube.
I loved colouring in posters when I was a child and my mom ended up framing a few of them. I thought that this colouring-in poster may help bring back some of the joys of sitting quietly and colouring in. The design starts in Cape Town in the bottom left corner and moves all the way through the Karoo, Kimberly, Clarens and up to Johannesburg in the top, right corner. Landmarks include the Greenpoint Lighthouse, De Waal Park, SA National Gallery, the South African Museum, Table Mountain, the Seapoint promenade, the multi-coloured wooden beach huts in Muizenberg, Ratanga Junction, the Ferris Wheel at the V&A Waterfront, a Cape Dutch House in the Cape winelands, scenes from the Karoo, mountains in Clarens, a traditional hut in the Drakensberg, The Big Hole in Kimberly, The Gold Reef, the fountain at Zoo Lake, Joburg Skyline, Nelson Mandela Bridge, and musical Soft-serve ice-cream van!
