THE JOHANNESBURG POSTCARD REVIVAL!
I’m participating in this great exhibition of artworks and limited edition postcards, all themed around our beautiful city of Johannesburg.
I’ve seen some of the artworks for the postcards, and they’re WONDERFUL!
If you feel like a different evening out- the Postcard Revival is a one night only exhibition -it is being held in the beautiful Barbican Building, aptly overlooking the old Rissik Street Post Office, on the evening of Thursday 16th May 2013 from 18H00. Both the original artworks and the beautiful limited edition postcards will be on display and for sale on the night.
-As a heads up, a chandelier the size of a basketball player is being carried up 10 flights of stairs, especially for the exhibition… this is not an evening you want to miss!
There will be warm gluhwein, cold beer, wine, refreshments and light but delicious snacks on sale, including homemade-croissant-based-emmentaler-breadsticks!
